Be a Better Amateur With 4 Tennis Pro Tips
Of course pro players are on a whole other level from amateur players, but that’s no reason not to do our best to learn from their skills. Here are 5 things pro players do that amateurs typically do not. Implement these tips in your game and you’ll notice a significant difference.
1 – A pro player is a consistent player
Every pro shot is done to near perfection. if you asked a pro to hit a certain spot at a certain speed they could do it without blinking an eye. To have this kind of consistency in your shots you should practice them up to 45 minutes a day. This means backhand, cross forehands, and shots down the line. Anything you can think of
2 – Pros are swift footed and always moving
If you want to play like a pro, keep on your toes at all times bounce, move, stay fluid.
3 – The Pros are always choosing good positions on the court because they try to anticipate
Always keep in mind during your pickup games exactly where you think your opponent is moving. Predict and then react!
4 – Pro’s aren’t perfect they just choose their shots more wisely
A pro will always trade shots and wait for the perfect moment to strike. They are not hammering away on every shot. Each point is well timed and executed. Don’t drive one home unless the odds are highly in your favor.
Follow these tips and your opponents will be chasing the ball all over the court. You’ll make points and win matches!
